My Favorite Quote
"In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv."
-Henri Cartier-Bresson
This quote means so much to me because that's what I really find peace in, the tiny details the small things, in photography and in life. The simple things in life the hinges you pass everyday. I love taking those things and giving a different perspective of it. This quote also touches me in a way beyond art. In life you by pass so many incredible things that you'd never appreciate unless you took a moment to spot listen and look around it's amazing the joy you can obtain from just slowing down and observing all the "small" things.

Film's Not Dead
I do not believe film photography is dead, just look around you. We are sitting in an advanced film photography class. Our class is packed and we struggle to walk through the class. There are student helpers all around from past semesters and year coming back because they want to be around film. How could something be dead with us here in this class working with it keeping it so lively?
You can go on Instagram just search up the hashtag: #filmsnotdead. 105,527 pictures with the latest one posted was yesterday as of today January 19, 2016. Look up #filmphotography that one has 1,100,822 photos with the latest one posted as of right now was 8 hours ago. This is why I believe films not dead because we are here keeping it alive.
